Hands on Guide to Networked Research now available
A Networked Research Approach is a new hands on Guide to conducting research in a network setting that has been developed by IFRTD. Through over 8 years of facilitating international networked research programmes the Forum has pioneered and tested this approach to fully reflect its Southern-driven networking principles.
At the heart of the Networked Research Approach is the perception that the international development agenda remains dominated by the economic interests and institutional priorities of the North, and supported by knowledge that is generated through Northern Universities, resource centres and think tanks. One means of addressing this imbalance is to ensure that the research used to determine and justify development priorities is both Southern-driven and accessible to Southern-based policymakers and development practitioners.
The guide is available in English, French and Spanish for free download with a limited number of hard copies available on request.
