www.mobilityandhealth.org is live!
As part of the international networked research programme on mobility and health, we are happy to announce the launch of a new web site, http://www.mobilityandhealth.org/ . The two-year initiative is carried out by IFRTD in collaboration with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the Swiss Resource Centre and Consultancies for Development (Skat) and the Swiss Centre for International Health (SCIH) as part of the Swiss Tropical Institute. After launching the programme in January 2006 and inviting researchers to submit proposals to research the exact links between mobility and health, we have received over 90 abstracts from 33 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Currently 54 applicants have been selected to submit a final proposal from which 24 will be invited to participate in the programme.
In order to enrich the web site we are inviting every one to submit relevant materials, articles, documents, links etc. to IFRTD at mobilityandhealth@ifrtd.org. We will make sure all relevant material is uploaded on the web. Our aim is to make this an interactive site so please contact us if you have anything interesting in Spanish, French or English.
The French and Spanish version of the site will also go live soon!
