IFRTD Library
The IFRTD maintains a regularly updated documentation
centre on rural transport in it’s London office. You can
download the database (in MS Access 97)
from this site. The file is zipped, if you have a problem accessing
it please contact the Secretariat at the email address below,
or try the bibliographies section for
selected publications on particular issues.
The library database provides details of the
publisher and ISBN numbers where appropriate, to assist you in
ordering publications. Contact details for many of the most important
publishers and information sources on rural transport can be found
in the 'Annotated Bibliography on Rural
Transport'.
If you are unable to locate documents directly
the ILO ASIST Information Service is an excellent source for many
of the published and unpublished documents held in the IFRTD library.
You can access their website at http://www.ilo.org/public/english/employment/
recon/eiip/asist/services/index.htm#info
For copyright reasons, the Secretariat is not
usually able to provide copies of the material listed. However,
should you have particular difficulty in tracing an item, particularly
grey literature, the Secretariat may be able to assist you with
further advice on how to obtain the material.
If you would like to come and use the documentation
centre in person please contact the Forum Secretariat in advance
at library@ifrtd.org or
by calling +44 (0) 207 713 6699.
